Quality

Brand and Quality -- Due to the high quality, support, and great name of Trane and Bryant products, Coastal Air Solutions had chosen to become an Authorized Dealer of these companies.  We believe in these brands so much that we’ve made them our primary line of products.

Quality Install -- Beyond providing top quality products and great service, Coastal Air Solutions goes the extra mile when it comes to quality installations. ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America) has created a standard for contractors to ensure true quality installations. Coastal Air Solutions has implemented a process that follows this quality installation standard. Therefore, you can be at ease knowing that the workmanship will be of the highest quality in the industry.

Warranties -- Coastal Air Solutions provides a one-year Labor Warranty on all of our new installations. In addition, Trane offers a standard parts warranty that normally extends to 10 years with product registration. You may also purchase up to 10 years of extended labor warranty.

SEER Rating -- When purchasing a new system, SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) rating is an extremely important factor. SEER describes how energy efficient a Heating and Air System performs. Typically HVAC systems with a higher SEER rating will cost more up front, but will be less expensive to operate throughout the life of your system. Systems with a SEER rating of 14 or more may qualify for a Tax Credit of up to $1,500. (Please note: Coastal Air Solutions does not provide Tax Advice. For more information please consult your tax advisor.)

Proper System

Type of System -- There are many types of Air Conditioning Systems available ....Examples are Split Systems, Package Units, Ductless Mini-Splits, Geo Thermal systems (Geo Thermal Systems have Extremely high SEER rating and are extremely energy efficient), and Chill Water Systems. Let us help you decide what system is best for your needs and your budget.

Size of System -- Purchasing the right sized system is often misunderstood. Most people worry about buying a system that is too small to heat or cool their home properly. However, it's actually worse to buy a system that is too big for your home then it is a system that is too small. An oversized air conditioner may cool your home too quickly causing it to cycle on and off much more than it should. (This is essentially like cranking your car over and over again - eventually it is going to wear out before its due time.)

Even more importantly, if a system cycles on and off too often, the system will not dehumidify the home properly, causing it to feel warmer or cooler than it actually is. A lot of contractors use rule of thumb methods to determine the size of unit needed. At Coastal Air Solutions, we provide Load Calculations using top of the line technology and Wrightsoft software (the leading provider for HVAC Load calculations) to ensure a properly sized unit. Check out our Video Library for more information on purchasing the proper sized system.

Other Features

There are many features that you can add to your new or existing system. These features can help with controlling allergies, creating healthier environments and provide energy savings. Below are a few features you may want to consider adding to your system.

UV Lights -- Research shows UV Lamps can destroy mold and mildew that can grow in your Heating and Air Conditioning System. Visit the UltraVation Website for more details on UV Lamps.

Filtration System -- Filtration Systems can remove up to 99% of allergens and Flu Viruses.

Programmable Thermostats -- Programmable Thermostats will give you complete control over temperature, humidity, and air treatment. If your family works during the day and no one is home, then we would highly recommend a programmable thermostat. This can really help lower your energy bill.
